It`s great to show that you are passionate about pro bono and want to get involved in the company`s projects. However, be realistic about how much time you will spend on such projects. Your main goal will be to work for your department and you may give the impression that you are more interested in pro bono work than in commercial law if you spend too much time talking about it. Or will you think in advance about what will interest interviewers the most, prepare accordingly and therefore be confident to answer most of the questions you will be asked? Based on my experience coaching CANDIDATES for TC candidate interviews over the years, the above questions continue to appear in one form or another.
